KBS 2TV Monday and Tuesday drama series Love Rain starring Jang Geun Suk and SNSD member Yoona, and the love line between the quarrelsome lover is officially begun in episode 9 broadcast on April 23rd, 2012. The first dating of two persons attracted the attention of the general audience.
“Vicious tongue” Seo Joon finally put aside the arrogance and looks at Ha Na fondly, and Ha Na also opens her heart to accept him, accepting each other shyly. There were some people witnessed the shooting of dating scene of the two persons, and left messages on the Internet, raising the anticipation towards the broadcast of the drama for many people.

Girls’ Generation member Yoona is not only impressive in beautiful look, but also through her portrayal of two different characters in drama series “Love Rain“. Currently, Yoona is performing her much improved acting in her third drama series, “Love Rain”, attracting the attention of critics.
Kim Yoon Hee, the female student at the campus of 70s, and Jung Ha Na, a modern girl who is bright and quirky, are two roles with completely opposite charms. The former is quiet and elegant, the latter cute and cheerful. The reporter of OSEN, Yoon Ga Ee commented on the acting of Yoona, “She not yet presents her beautiful outlook. Yoona can also capture the scene with rich emotions and polished facial expressions. As a viewers, everyone can have only even more positive anticipation to ‘actress’ Yoona.” When playing the role as Kim Yoon Hee, Yoona is very quiet, she utilizes many subtle and vivid facial expressions and petty actions to draw the audience into the role that the director Yoon Suk Ho created.
Then, the plot transitions to present day, and thereupon after the role of Yoona changed to modern girl Jung Ha Na, she has more opportunity to perform.
Yoona naturally blends her temperament into Ha Na, and makes the character more vivid and dramatic with a wide range of emotions. Reporter Choi In Kyung of Review Star said of Yoona, “Once, the laughing and crying of Yoona only gave a feel of beautiful, but now she has changed! When she is sad and cried because of giving up on her first love, senior Han Tae Seung (Kim Young kwang), audience will cry together. When she poses funny actions clumsily and cutely in front of the camera, viewers will laugh.”
In fact, through her accurate and fine performance, Yoona is fully capable of leading the viewers into the plot of the drama, and affected by the mood of the characters. She not only fully demonstrates the personality of the character, but can also show off a variety of charms of the role. The improvement of Yoona is a surprise for critics, not only because such improvement was considered as impossible, but because at the same time, she has to complete the intensive Girls’ Generation performing activities around the world. She has learned from criticisms and suggestions hurled on her in the past to improve herself, and grabs at every opportunity to train her acting. Yoon Ga Ee wrote, “The speed of improvement for Yoona’s acting skill is extraordinary. Her acting has reached the level when one wants to ask, ‘When did her acting become so good?’ The criticism that bugged her after appearance in ‘Cinderella Man’ is now nowhere to be found.”
In the drama, Yoona faces the challenge of playing two different roles which are completely contracting each other. Perhaps the most impressive part of Yoona’s performance is the fact that she is breaking away from the stereotype for “idol-actress”, and strives to show that she can become actress, and not an idol part-time as actress. Girls’ Generation’s YoonA and Jang Geun Suk clutched hands together in their first date scene for the upcoming episode of KBS drama “Love Rain.”
In the latest still cuts released for “Love Rain,” the two lovebirds are seen holding hands together, making a huge step forward in their relationship. Jang Geun Suk shed his tough personality and looks at YoonA in love, as YoonA drops her head feeling shy at the intimate moment.
Netizens commented, “Jang Geun Suk and YoonA are the best drama couple this year,” “They should date in real life,” and “I want to see their kiss scene asap.”
Meanwhile, the last preview of “Love Rain” showed Jang Geun Suk and YoonA finally lock lips, hinting at the quickly developing love line between the two stars.

Yoona has been impressing with not only her incredible good looks, but also with her portrayal of two different characters in “Love Rain”. Now a third of the way through just her third drama, Yoona’s improved acting skills have been catching the eyes of critics.
Kim Yoonhee, the 70s college student, and Jung Hana, the bright and quirky present day girl, are polar opposites. The former is calm and deliberate, the latter cute and cheerful. As Yoon Ga-ee of OSEN writes of Yoona’s acting, “She doesn’t just put her pretty visuals forth. She has been capturing the screen with rich emotions and polished expressions. Viewers’ eyes can only be kind towards this ‘actress’ Yoona.” In her scenes as Kim Yoonhee, Yoona plays her character very calmly and exhibits her feelings with subtle facial expressions and movement that draw the audience into the serene setting that director Yoon Sukho has created.
The transition to the present day allowed Yoona to showcase her skills even more with the younger character, Jung Hana. Yoona’s natural exuberance flows freely through Hana, but her ability to effectively portray a wide range of emotions has improved dramatically. Choi Inkyung of Review Star says of Yoona, “Her laughing and crying, which was only pretty before, has certainly changed. She drew tears from viewers when she cried giving up on her first love, senior Taesung (Kim Youngkwang), and made viewers laugh with her awkward and funny body movements in front of the camera.” Indeed, Yoona is able to take the audience on an emotional roller coaster through her nuanced portrayal of Hana. She makes sure that a fully developed and deep character with many sides is shown. In the latest episode, Choi Inkyung says Yoona was prettier than ever, continuing, “Of course, it could have been her pretty clothes and makeup, but more than anything, her facial expressions and ever improving acting were the biggest reasons behind it. After always having carried the ‘idol origin’ label, Yoona is completely immersed in her character and has now become ‘Hana’ herself.”

On the April 16th broadcast of KBS‘s ‘Love Rain‘, Girls’ Generation‘s YoonA charmed viewers with her adorable antics.
The episode focused on Hana (YoonA) accepting Suh Joon’s (Jang Geun Suk) offer to become a model, and her subsequent visit to his studio. After coming upon the photo shoot of model “Goo Eun Ae”, Hana becomes intimidated by her professionalism and sneaks out back to practice her own poses.
Because of her cute image, Hana’s attempts to pull off sexy poses only served to make her look cuter than ever, achieving the opposite of what she had hoped. No matter how much she pouted her lips or winked for an invisible camera, Hana was unable to fool anyone with the act. The cafe staff, who were watching through the window, were not convinced. Embarrassed after being caught, Hana immediately planted herself down on a seat, acting as if nothing happened.
Although short, the scene was enough to squeeze an “awww” out of viewers.

Girls’ Generation member YOONA once again impressed with her beautiful S-line.
The ladies of Girls’ Generation were recently selected as the newest advertisement models for a new food product, and they recently completed a new photo shoot.
In the photos taken by a representative of the corporation, Girls’ Generation member YoonA showcased her long, shapely legs and captivating beauty in a pink and white mini-dress.
Even though the photos were unedited, YoonA boasted a small face and long limbs that evoked the envy of everyone on set. With her flawless figure, YoonA once again proved that she had the beauty of a real goddess.
“YoonA’s beauty is no joke,” her fans wrote, in addition to “Daebak“, and “Not a single flaw on her body.”
In related news, YoonA plays the younger role of Kim Yoon Hee (Lee Mi Sook) as well as the role of Kim Yoon Hee’s daughter Jung Hana on KBS 2TV‘s ‘Love Rain‘.

On April 16, Korea Yakult revealed a commercial shoot on April 12, featuring Yoona, in a set in Gyeonggi-do’s Namyangju for a new drink from the company. In the pictures, Yoona stands on a runway against a sparkling backdrop with a fan lightly tossing her hair. In particular, Yoona’s perfect body dimensions, slim figure and porcelain skin in her tight pink and white outfit is drawing the praise of viewers for her ‘goddess-like’ beauty.
The commercials will begin airing on television beginning in May.

On the April 10th episode, Hana (YoonA) went to Suh Joon’s (Jang Geun Suk) hotel to dry her clothes after getting wet at the hot spring.
Hana had to borrow a shirt from Suh Jun while her clothes dried, but the shirt proved to be a little too short. She looked flustered as she unintentionally wore the “no pants” look. Suh Joon was also flustered, but attempted to hide the fact that his heart was fluttering by warning her sulkily, “Don’t stretch out the sleeves,” “Do you even know how much that shirt is worth,” and “They said the clothes should get here soon so don’t stand there uncomfortably and sit down.”
Viewers noticed that the risque shirt complemented YoonA’s slim body and beautiful legs. They commented, “She said she would make him fall in love in 3 seconds, but I’m the one who fell in love in 3 seconds,” “YoonA has only bones left in her legs,” and “YoonA’s shirt fashion is so lovely.”

YoonA‘s “three second stare” scene in KBS2′s ’Love Rain‘ has become a hot topic.
The “three second stare” scene, featured in one of the drama’s teasers, between Suh Joon (Jang Geun Suk) and Hana (YoonA) was aired on the April 9th episode of the drama.
Suh Joon and Hana return from watching ‘Diamond Snow’, but when their car breaks down on the road, they’re forced to walk the rest of the way to the hot springs. After the ordeal, the two finally make their way to the springs where they sit side-by-side and start a conversation on their differing attitudes towards love.
Suh Joon, who is known to be a player, revealed, “I don’t believe in love. My father could never forget his first love and was always unhappy.” Hana responded, “Although my mother was unable to forget her first love, she was happy because of those memories. I want to experience that kind of love,” staring at Jang Geun Suk with a distressed expression.
Viewers who saw the episode commented, “I almost lost my breath seeing YoonA stare into the camera for three seconds,” and “I am envious of Jang Geun Suk.”
