On the 29th of May aired the last episode of the KBS beautiful melodrama ‘Love Rain.’ The 20th episode wrapped up the story with a happy ending.
At the end, Yun Hee (Lee Mi Sook) says to Hana (Yoona) and Suh Joon (Jang Keun Suk), “I wonder if we met 30 years ago just so that you two could eventually meet… I began to think that way.” and wished love and happiness for her daughter Hana and Suh Joon. The scene left a strong impression of the drama by smoothly wrapping up the story.
The love that was shared by Hana and Suh Joon represented true love. It was true love that they held on to even when everything seemed hopeless. Hana and Suh Joon stayed patient and kept their faith in themselves. Although their love was different in many ways from the way their own parents loved each other, their priceless love for each other were not very different. The drama allowed the audience to feel their love.
‘Love Rain’ successfully portrayed love in a realistic way by showing all sides of love. The happiness as well as the sadness that results from love was demonstrated clearly by all the talented actors throughout the drama. With the perfect combination of story, director and actors, the love felt by heart and not thought out by head was flawlessly represented in the drama.
Jang Keun Suk played the roles of Suh In Ha, in the 70s and Suh Joon in 2012. Jang Keun Suk stated, ‘It feels like I have been in a very deep kind of love since the 70s to 2012. I think I’ll be experiencing some ‘Love Rain’ withdrawals since I was focused on the drama for so long. I was so happy I met In Ha and Joon and I will never forget this drama. Thank you to all those who have been supportive from the beginning until the end.’
Yoona also played two roles: Yun Hee, in the 70s and her daughter Hana in 2012. Yoona commented, ‘I am very sad that the drama ended because I spent so much drama filming for it. I learned so much about acting through working on this piece. Thank you to the audience who have shown us so much love and please don’t forget ‘Love Rain.”

On online community site ‘DC Inside’, a poll entitled ‘Who is the innocent female star that reminds a person of his first love?’ was carried out from May 22nd to May 29th. Out of a total of 14,711 votes cast, YoonA topped the poll, garnering 6,278 votes (42.7%). Recently completed the filming of KBS 2TV’s ‘Love Rain’ where she played both the neat and tidy beauty Kim YoonHee as well as the lively and cheerful Jung HaNa, YoonA displayed her very own unique charm in the Monday-Tuesday drama.
Actress Han HyoJoo took the no.2 spot with 4,219 votes (28.7%) while actress Han JiMin came in 3rd with 1,271 votes (8.6%), followed by actress Moon GeunYoung, miss A’s Suzy, actress Han GaIn, etc.

Jang Geun Suk revealed pictures on his twitter of him and YoonA together. He also wrote his goodbyes to their drama “Love Rain.”
On May 30, he wrote on his twitter, “Goodbye.. Seo Joon.. Jung Hana.”
Jang Geun Suk was also quoted as saying, “I feel like I was in a very deep love from 1970 to 2012. I was in love with ‘Love Rain’ for a long time, I think because of that the aftereffects will last long. I was happy to meet Inha and Joon. I think this project will be a memorable one that I will not forget.”
YoonA stated, “I was with this drama for such a long time that I am feeling a mix of sad emotions. Through this project I learned and felt a lot. It was a good experience because I got so much out of the drama.”

The preview for the next episode of KBS’s series Love Rain, in which Jang Keun Suk gives Yoona a deep kiss, is getting a lot of attention.
In the 9th episode of the series, which aired on April 23, Jang gave Yoona three kisses in front of a fountain and received an explosive response. In the 20th episode of the series, which will air on May 29, Jang will capture the public’s attention once again by giving Yoona a deep and passionate kiss.

YoonA expressed her gratitude towards the staff of ‘Love Rain’ through a meaningful gift.
On May 29th, a post entitled ‘YoonA’s gift in conjunction with the last filming’ with photos attached was published on an online community board.
In the photos revealed, the gifts were presented by YoonA to the staff of ‘Love Rain’ at the final shooting of the Monday-Tuesday drama. Along with the gift, YoonA also conveyed her gratitude through a message that reads, “All this while, thank you to every staff of ‘Love Rain’. Take this vitamin and stay strong always. Fighting!”. Jang GeunSuk who acted alongside YoonA in the drama also presented T-shirts to the staff as a sign of gratitude for their hard work.
Upon seeing the photos, netizens commented, “As pretty as her face, she has a kind heart as well”, “Both YoonA and the staff have all done well”, “Last time, I think she used to write messages to thank the staff at the end of drama filming too”, “How would the ending of ‘Love Rain’ turn out to be?”.

In the episode of KBS2’s Love Rain that aired on May 28, Jun Ha Na and Seo Joon discuss what they should call each other.
Jun Ha Na is played by SNSD’s Yoona and Seo Joon is played by Jang Keun Suk.
Joon and Hana enjoy a meal in a restaurant for a date. Unexpectedly, the dish they shared in Fukaido was on the menu.
Joon recalls Hana’s nickname “Lululu” that he used to call her and says, “You used to eat a lot, but these days, you don’t. Why” Do you wish to impress me by looking good?”
He also adds “I want you to call me a lovely nickname, rather than Seo. There are a lot of those items such as oppa and things like that. While Ha Na feels shy, Joon says, “I’ve decided what I call you by. It’s ‘Lululu.’”
While the twosome talking about the lovely nickname between the couple, Joon gets a call from Paik Hye Jung, who asks Joon to come to her house right now. While Joon refuses to come to Hye Jung’s place, Hana calls him oppa.
As Joon is flustered by hearing what she calls him, Ha Na says with a shy smile, “I’ll try to call you that. You know we’re decided to not run away.”
The series Love Rain will come to an end on May 29 with 20th episode as a finale.

YoonA’s actual past photos made an appearance on KBS 2TV’S drama ‘Love Rain’ which was aired on May 28th.
In this episode, ahead of her eye surgery, Kim YoonHee (played by Lee MiSook) flipped through a photo album with pictures of her daughter Jung HaNa (played by YoonA) when she was still a child.
Filled with the fear of losing her eyesight, Kim YoonHee who was looking at the photos of her daughter said, “I will keep all these in my mind. I think I’ll be missing them a lot”. During this sad scene, the pictures in the photo album caught the attention of the viewers. These photos of ‘Little Jung HaNa’ were actually the real photos of YoonA when she was still a child. The photos served as proof that YoonA is indeed a ‘Motaeminyeo’, which literally means that she is a beauty since she was still in her mother’s womb.
Meanwhile, the final episode (Episode 20) of KBS 2TV ‘Love Rain’ will be aired on May 29th.

KBS drama ‘Love Rain’ is based on an original plot that is ahead of its time with its complicated parents/children relationships and their fight against the world to protect their love.
The cliché is no longer the cliché in ‘Love Rain’ because it is the main focus and also the reason for the drama’s popularity. However, one thing that does seem to be tiring the audience is the fact that all the cliché moments in Korean dramas have all come together in ‘Love Rain.’ Tuberculosis, misunderstandings, army, breakups, long-lost (30 years) love, the lovers’ children’s love, blindness and etc. All the main factors that dramatize various dramas have all combined into one single drama here.
In the episode that was aired on May 22 featured the breaking of the engagement of the parents of Jun (Jang Keun Suk) and Hana (Yoona), which meant that the two young love birds could officially continue their romance. However, Hye Jung (Yu Hye Ri) was against the two and tried to interfere. In addition, Tae Sung’s (Kim Young Kwang) mother appeared and becomes involved in the attempt to interfere.
To add to the drama, Yoon Hee (Lee Mi Sook) loses her sight. The tragedy brings the four main characters to one place again and the story is predicted to become even more complicated. Even though it is about time the complicated mess becomes untangled, but the drama continues to complicate things even more.
There are currently two episodes of ‘Love Rain’ remaining. It seems clear that there won’t be any kind of surprise ending.
