Tiffany, YoonA and Seohyun captured many hearts with their new styles.

The three girls were in Kensington Gardens, London on February 20th (London local time) to attend the ’2012 F/W Burberry Prorsum Women’s Collection’ fashion show as one of the invited guests. In the photos, the girls are indeed ‘goddesses’.

The fashion show was aired live through online sites and the girls were focusing on the runway throughout the event and showed their appreciation by giving a round of applause after the show had ended. The three girls, who are known for their fashion sense, are not lacking at all in their fashion statement, even among world-class celebrities such as model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, singer Will.i.am, actress Kate Bosworth and even Samantha Cameron, wife of UK’s current Prime Minister David Cameron.

The girls were invited to attend the ’2012 F/W Burberry Prorsum Women’s Collection’ fashion show on February 20th (London local time) in Kensington Gardens, London which will also be attended by many world-known stars and celebrities.

YoonA, Seohyun and Tiffany’s participation in this fashion show materialized after receiving an official invitation from Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer, Christopher Bailey. On the actual day, the atmosphere at the venue of the event will be made available online and it will be aired live through designated websites.

Pictorials containing YoonA’s unique expression were revealed.

The product of the pictorial shoots showcasing the unique concept of SM (SM Entertainment) Fashionistas, aired live on YouTube recently, will be revealed in the March edition of fashion magazine, ‘W Korea’.

The shoot took place in January involving participation from YoonA and Seohyun, SHINee’s JongHyun, f(x)’s Krystal and Sulli, as well as EXO members and they became SM fashionistas for French fashion brand, ‘Carven’.

The YouTube video of the shooting scene had since recorded a total of 1.8 million views so far, garnering huge interest within Korea and overseas.

This was also the very first pictorial shoots for EXO’s Kai, SeHun and LuHan who revealed their fresh-looking appearances.

YoonA revealed her beautiful abs and is gaining attention for having an innocent looking face but a very sexy body. An online community website had a post with her picture titled, “Thailand concert YoonA, she has goddess looks and abs?”

The picture of YoonA’s abs is from the finale performance for the “GIRL’S GENERATION TOUR” that was held in Thailand on February 12. YoonA has always been known as having a very lithe body. But, her prevalent 11 abs made Netizens very surprised.

Netizens stated after seeing the pictures, “Wow they are unlikely abs. However whenever I see her I always think she is too skinny,” “Really, gain some wait please, I wish I could live like YoonA for a day,” and “I think those abs are showing because she is so skinny.”

SNSD members Yuri and YoonA’s names were featured on the Japanese SAT.

The Japanese SAT exam similar to America and Korea’s, the aptitude test which evaluates students and determines their college attendance was held in Japan on January 14. During the Korean language portion, members Yuri and YoonA’s named appeared in some of the problems asked.

That day, during the Korean test, Yuri’s name was mentioned in paragraph 2-C question 7 in the following problem : “Yuri couldn’t even speak because she was () surprised” and students had to fill in the parenthesis with the word (so).

Also, a multiple choice question was asked at paragraph 2-C question 8 with the following problem : “YoonA ()  ate breakfast and went to school.” One of the answer was “hurriedly.”

Even though the group’s name “SNSD” wasn’t mentioned, the names “Yuri” and “YoonA” emerged, who both are members of SNSD. 

Netizens reactions to this were : “I’m really surprised to see their names appear in the Japanese SAT,” and “Now i’m sure that SNSD really are the nation’s treasures,” and “SNSD is the ambassador of culture between Korea and Japan!”

Yoona and Seohyun, along with SHINee’s Jonghyun and Taemin, f(x)’s Krystal and Sulli, and EXO, will be participating in the SM Fashionistas’ photoshoot with fashion magazine “W” for the French fashion brand “CARVEN”. They will be attempting an open studio shoot where it will be filmed and broadcasted live on January 19th and 21st, and will be aired through SMTown and W Korea’s Youtube channels. “CARVEN” will be launched in February in Korea, and the photoshoot pictures will be released through Facebook.

With brands such as J.ESTINA, Vita500, and SPAO, Girls’ Generation is no stranger to endorsements. Seohyun’s ad for The Face Shop had also appeared in November. Yoona, who is currently filming for her role in “Love Rain”, has endorsed Innisfree and Eider, which she is currently modeling with actor Lee Minho.

Super Junior‘s Leeteuk announced that even as a trainee, he had a good feeling that Girls’ Generation member Yoona would be a star.

On the January 10th episode of SBS ‘Strong Heart‘, Lee Teuk reminisced of his days as a SM Entertainment trainee and remarked, “Out of all the 200 SM trainees, I told two people that they would be successful. One of them was Go Ara, and the other was Yoona.”

 YoonA was officially appointed as the Honorary Ambassador of Jung-gu, Seoul.

On January 9th, Choi ChangSik, Mayor of Jung-gu had officially presented the certificate of appointment as Honorary Ambassador of the district to YoonA.
